cleaning Anni’s looms

In Studio 2 many hours of cleaning scrubbing and assembling followed. And many helpful emails of advice from fellow Structo Art Craft Loom users! The looms were put together, bending the metal supports to place again and attaching the timber legs. We had to source metal rods to attach the beaters and had to replace some of the cords. And then we removed both reeds and all the heddles and scrubbed and cleaned them clear of rust. The heddles had to be separated in their groups and counted to make sure each shaft had the same number. Slowly we were getting there, and it was moving to see the looms Anni worked on come together.
